40 year-old mother of two, 5’5” tall, weighing 133 lbs. Immediately following her bilateral mastectomy, Dr. Armijo performed the first stage of breast reconstruction with the placement of tissue expanders.  Once the patient was expanded to her desired size, Dr. Armijo performed a bilateral DIEP flap procedure, using the skin and fat from her tummy to reconstruct her breasts.  Following the DIEP flap procedure, the patient desired more upper pole fullness to her breasts, so Dr. Armijo then placed 520 cc Moderate Profile silicone gel implants in conjunction with fat grafting to complete her reconstruction.
