Kybella Treatment Dr. Armijo
Dr. Armijo is a board certified plastic surgeon injector that customizes and performs all beauty injections.

What is Kybella®?

Kybella® is an injectable specifically designed to reduce moderate to severe fat on the upper neck, otherwise known as a “double chin.” The injection is composed of deoxycholic acid which is naturally found in your body. Deoxycholic acid helps absorb fats, which makes it ideal to use on neck contouring procedures. Kybella® is a perfect alternative to liposuction or surgery to treat undesirable double-chin fat.

Kybella® vs. Other Procedures

While there are many procedures that tighten neck skin there are very few non-invasive ways to reduce neck fat. Kybella® is the only injection that serves the purpose of treating neck fat cells. It can improve the appearance by reducing fat without the need of surgery or downtime. Kybella® offers a simple solution to that dreaded fat that can add years to a person’s image.

Treatments

Kybella® can only be administered by a trained healthcare professional. At the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, we ensure that your treatment will be safe and tailored to your needs. Depending on the patient’s needs the amount of injections per treatment will vary. The amount of treatments needed will range from 2 to 4 sessions. Most patients begin seeing significant results after their first treatment. A single session only takes 15 minutes with each treatment being spaced approximately 6 weeks apart. Several appointments will probably be needed to attain noticeable results.
